Use the connected SEO tools for this analysis. State the data source, country database and reporting dates. Distinguish estimated traffic from measured traffic. If a requested metric or historical comparison isn’t available, explain the limitation rather than inventing it.

1. Find the sites growing in your niche

Useful for: Finding competitors worth studying, including smaller sites you might otherwise overlook.

Prompt 1 of 8
Using these 10 websites in my niche, identify which have grown their estimated organic search traffic in [country] since January 2026: [list of domains]. Compare January 2026 with the latest available month using the same data source. Return a table showing starting traffic, latest traffic, absolute change and percentage change. Rank the sites by absolute growth and flag those with strong percentage growth from a small starting point. Where historical data allows, identify the pages or topics contributing most to each site’s growth. Don’t infer causes from traffic estimates alone.

2. Find first-page keyword gaps in a specific topic

Useful for: Researching opportunities within a service, product category or content cluster.

Prompt 2 of 8
Find keywords where [competitor domain] ranks in positions 1–10 in [country], but [my domain] ranks outside the top 10 or has no recorded ranking. Limit the results to [topical cluster] and keywords with at least [XX] monthly searches. Exclude competitor-branded searches and irrelevant meanings. Return the keyword, search volume, intent, keyword difficulty, both domains’ positions and their ranking URLs. Group closely related keywords into opportunities that could be addressed by one page.

3. Discover your actual search competitors

Useful for: Finding the websites competing for your searches, which may differ from your known business competitors.

Prompt 3 of 8
Find the top organic search competitors for [domain] in [country]. Compare them using shared ranking keywords, keyword overlap and estimated organic traffic. Include traffic share only if the tool provides a clearly defined metric, and explain what it measures. Separate direct business competitors from publishers, directories and marketplaces. Recommend five domains worth investigating based on overlap with our commercially relevant topics, and explain why.

4. Find commercial keyword opportunities

Useful for: Prioritizing searches that could bring customers, rather than chasing traffic volume alone.

Prompt 4 of 8
Identify commercially relevant keywords that [competitor domains] rank for in [country] where [my domain] has no recorded ranking. Prioritize searches that indicate someone is evaluating, comparing or buying [our products/services]. Include search volume, keyword difficulty, competitor positions and ranking URLs. Group the results by intent and recommend an appropriate page type for each group. Explain the business relevance and ranking feasibility. Treat keyword difficulty as one signal, alongside the competing pages and their strengths.

5. Find existing pages worth improving

Useful for: Building a refresh queue from pages that already have some search visibility.

Prompt 5 of 8
Analyze [domain]’s organic keywords in [country] and identify relevant searches where it ranks in positions 8–20. Group the keywords by ranking URL. Prioritize pages with commercial relevance, meaningful search demand and a plausible route to the top five. Inspect the competing pages where possible and suggest specific improvements to content, search intent alignment and internal links. Return the URL, target keyword group, current positions, recommended changes and rationale. Flag anything that needs manual review.

6. Find competitor backlink opportunities

Useful for: Identifying relevant publications, directories and resources that already link to businesses like yours.

Prompt 6 of 8
Compare the backlink profiles of [my domain] and [competitor domains]. Find referring domains linking to at least two competitors but not to us. Prioritize topical relevance, editorial quality and credible audience reach. Include authority metrics as supporting information. Return the referring domain, the pages linking to competitors, the linked competitor URLs and a realistic route to earning a similar link. Separate editorial coverage, resource pages, directories and apparent paid placements. Flag suspicious sites and exclude obvious spam.

7. Find the pages driving competitor traffic

Useful for: Understanding which topics and page types account for a competitor’s search visibility.

Prompt 7 of 8
Analyze the top organic landing pages for [competitor domain] in [country]. Group them into product, category, service, comparison, informational and other relevant page types. Show estimated organic traffic, leading keywords and search intent. Identify commercially relevant topics that [my domain] doesn’t adequately cover. Recommend whether each opportunity needs a new page or an improvement to an existing one. Separate branded traffic from non-branded opportunities where the data allows.

8. Turn the findings into an intelligence brief

Useful for: Bringing the research together into a client update or a practical work plan.

Prompt 8 of 8
Create an organic search intelligence brief comparing [my domain] with [competitor domains] in [country], using the findings from this conversation and the connected SEO tools. Summarize where competitors are ahead across relevant rankings, content coverage, estimated traffic and referring domains. Also identify where we are ahead. Recommend five actions for the next 90 days. For each, include the supporting evidence, affected pages or topics, business value, effort and dependencies. Distinguish quick improvements to existing pages from new content and link acquisition work. Finish with a concise executive summary and comparison table. Don’t predict traffic gains unless there is a defensible basis for the estimate.
